Alexander Sossa has over 20 years of international experience as a tango dancer and teacher. His artistic approach proposes a revealing and inspiring perspective on the embrace, where sensitivity and emotional awareness become the foundation of movement, transcending mechanical and empty structures.
He has been a finalist at the Buenos Aires Tango World Championship for 13 consecutive years, and a two-time Runner-up in the Milongueros del Mundo category at the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Championship. He is also a two-time Runner-up in the Milonga and Vals categories, as well as a multiple-time champion of Tango, Milonga, and Vals in Colombia.
Alexander Sossa has conducted tours and artistic residencies across Europe, Asia, the United States, and Latin America, sharing a profound vision of tango that emphasizes connection, musicality, and the authenticity of social dance.
