Jovanka JoAnn Milivojevic took her early steps in tango in 2010 while living in Chicago and quickly fell in love with the music (Troilo first captured her heart). During the pandemic, she honed her skills as a DJ, starting with small gatherings. Since then, she has DJed many house parties, practicas and milongas in Tampa Bay and Chicago. Now based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Jovanka’s experience includes co-hosting/DJing weekend festivals and milongas. She focuses on traditional Golden Age music to joyfully keep dancers inspired and happy. She’s excited to be coming back to Viva Mexico again this year.
